Its always a fun day so come on out

I have been asked to sing at a private dinner party for just 8 people, so who better to take then Steve Brien on guitar…I really enjoyed working in New Zealand with Steve last year.

16/5/10 Sunday

Wollongong Workers Club 2.30pm to 5.30pm
Steve Brien on guitar and Ed Gaston on double bass.
We have some fabulous new charts that I will be trying on the day, would love to see you.

I was very happy to be asked to do 6 concerts this month with the “Queens of Jazz” this would be in a venue in Kings Cross starting on Sunday 21st March and finishing on Sunday 25th April….check jazz mags for details or contact me.
The swinging trio of Ray Aldridge on piano,Lawrie Thompson on drums and Garry Holgate on double bass will be our musicians…cant wait.

I have spent many long hours rehearsing and getting charts written so I can continue with my 3rd CD. As this will be a very special recording I intend to take my time. So far I have several tracks down with vocals and the help of one very wonderful Kerrie Bidell.
A long process and I dont mind if it takes another year to complete.
Im very excited to have recorded with Mr Al Hermanne(trombone USA)and our multi talented Bill Risby. This is also the first time I have recorded with Andrew Dickeson(drums)and Craig Scott(double bass)what a joy….
Phil Punches studio Ëlectric Avenue gets a great sound…

WOLLONGONG JAZZ CLUB (17/1/10) 2.30-5.30pm

I will be performing with the fabulous Peter Locke on piano and Ed Gaston on double bass. The afternoon will
be an opportunity to try some new songs made famous by the magnificent Miss Peggy Lee.
