I will be going away to celebrate a very special birthday with family and friends late September.
OCTOBER GIGS

Im very happy to report a regular jazz gig on Sundays at the CLARENDON HOTEL in Devonshire Street,S Hills.
3pm to 6pm.
This Sunday 4th July I will be playing with three real legends of the jazz world.
RAY ALDRIDGE PIANO, ED GASTON DOUBLE BASS,AND COL LOCHNAN SAX/FLUTE
George Washingmachine will be ther the next 2 weeks and I will be back on the Sunday 25th July and than Sunday 1st August. this is a great opportunity to play some great new songs and have fun. Would love to see you all. cheers di

Hi this is me with the fabulous Steve Brien on guitar and Steve Arie in Queenstown N ew Zealand and Im happy to tell you that I will be taking Steve Brien with me to the Dubbo Jazz Festival this year(dates above). Dave Pudney on double bass will keep us swinging and my mate Peter Locke on piano. what a great band. Hope some of you will make the journey ,should be lots of fun.

I have been asked to sing at a private dinner party for just 8 people, so who better to take then Steve Brien on guitar…I really enjoyed working in New Zealand with Steve last year.

I was very happy to be asked to do 6 concerts this month with the “Queens of Jazz” this would be in a venue in Kings Cross starting on Sunday 21st March and finishing on Sunday 25th April….check jazz mags for details or contact me.
The swinging trio of Ray Aldridge on piano,Lawrie Thompson on drums and Garry Holgate on double bass will be our musicians…cant wait.
FEBRUARY
I have spent many long hours rehearsing and getting charts written so I can continue with my 3rd CD. As this will be a very special recording I intend to take my time. So far I have several tracks down with vocals and the help of one very wonderful Kerrie Bidell.
A long process and I dont mind if it takes another year to complete.
Im very excited to have recorded with Mr Al Hermanne(trombone USA)and our multi talented Bill Risby. This is also the first time I have recorded with Andrew Dickeson(drums)and Craig Scott(double bass)what a joy….

Di and the trio travelled to Merimbula to play two concerts at the Merimbula Jazz Club.

Di and the band are going back out west to Cudal in April and playing at Corden’s Store on 18 April for Jazz at Corden’s (hosted by Cabonne Food Wine and Cultural Centre).
On the way back they’ll be going through the Blue Mountains and playing at the Gearin Hotel in Katoomba on the Great Western Highway from 2.30pm on 19 April.
Accompanying Di is Andrew Robertson on sax and flute, Andrew Dickeson on drums, Ed Gaston on double bass and Tom O’Halloran on piano. Come along and say hello!
