    2nd July

Di performed with a twelve piece jazz band in Darwin

    15th July

Di and the trio travelled to Merimbula to play two concerts at the Merimbula Jazz Club.

Upcoming Gigs

    15th August

Di will be travelling up north to perform at the Bellingen Jazz Club, taking with her John Blenkhorn on guitar.

    29th August

Two sets at the Newcastle Jazz Festival. Joining Di will be Col Loughnan on saxophone.

    30th August

2-2.30pm Di will be playing the Orange Food and Wine Festival at Bondi Beach, performing behind the Pavilion with Dave Smith on guitar.

    6th September

Woollongong Master Builders Club (2.30-5.30pm) with Ron Nairn on saxophone.

    25th September

A day in the studio recording with American jazz legend Al Hermann on trombone, Bill Risby on piano, Craig Scott on double bass and Andrew Dickeson on drums.

Di and the band are going back out west to Cudal in April and playing at Corden’s Store on 18 April for Jazz at Corden’s (hosted by Cabonne Food Wine and Cultural Centre).

On the way back they’ll be going through the Blue Mountains and playing at the Gearin Hotel in Katoomba on the Great Western Highway from 2.30pm on 19 April.

Accompanying Di is Andrew Robertson on sax and flute, Andrew Dickeson on drums, Ed Gaston on double bass and Tom O’Halloran on piano. Come along and say hello!

QueenstownDi and her band finished 2008 on a high note performing at New Zealand’s Queenstown International Jazz Festival, a key annual event in one of the world’s most picturesque towns.
